Sanjiv Mital, the CEO of National Institute of Smart Government, is an IT and telecom industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience in the industry. An engineer from I.I.T. Kanpur with a post graduate degree in management from I.I.M. Calcutta, Sanjiv started his career in the IT industry and has managed technical , commercial and management functions. He has worked in senior positions in companies like IBM, Wipro, and Bharti Telesoft, both in India and in Singapore. Last year, Sanjiv took on the challenge of furthering the cause of e‐governance in India by taking over as CEO of National Institute of Smart Government. Sanjiv is actively involved in mentoring young and emerging companies, and is also on the NASSCOM panel of mentors.
